Dr. Bratin Saha is the Vice President of Machine Learning and AI services at AWS where he leads all the ML and AI services and helped build one of the fastest growing businesses in AWS history. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School (General Management Program), Yale University (PhD Computer Science), and Indian Institute of Technology (BS Computer Science). He has more than 70 patents granted (with another 50+ pending) and more than 30 papers in conferences/journals. In 2022 Harvard Business School wrote three case studies on how he built the machine learning business at AWS. Prior to Amazon he worked at Nvidia and Intel leading different product groups spanning imaging, analytics, media processing, high performance computing, machine learning, and software infrastructure. Bratin received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Indian Institute of Technology and an Executive Fellow at the Harvard Business School.

Bryan received his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to his Google Ventures role, Dave built and led enterprise software product, sales, and operations teams for highly-technical products under pressure in rapidly-changing markets. An early exec at Kiva Systems, he grew the enterprise-enabling robotics and software platform from pre-PMF to $120 million in annual revenue before it was purchased by Amazon, becoming Amazon Robotics. Dave is a combat veteran and former paratrooper who served as a Captain in the U.S. military’s most elite units before his startup career. Dave earned his bachelors degree in mathematics and computer science from Emory University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

How do I register for ModCon?

Click this link and follow the four easy steps!

What is the deadline for registration?

Registration will remain open until tickets sell out. We will not be offering day-of registration.

How much does it cost to attend ModCon?

Early bird pricing (available until November 13th) is $150. After November 13th the price will be $200. We highly recommend that if you can get your employer to pay for a ticket to one of the best AI events of the year- please do so.

What is the cancellation policy for purchasing a ticket to ModCon?

Individual reservations can be cancelled at no charge until 72 hour prior to arrival. Please email events@modular.com for assistance.

What is included in the registration fee?

Keynote presentations, panels, lightning talks, workshops, and access to our team at our experts table. Also included is legendary swag, all you can drink espresso drinks, snacks, breakfast, lunch and drinks and appetizers at our reception!

Are hotel accommodations included in the registration fee?

No, they are not included.

After completing registration will I receive a confirmation email?

Absolutely! If you do not receive your email confirmation within 24 hours, please check your email spam folder and then contact our Events team at events@modular.com.

What is the agenda for the event?

Do I need to reserve a spot at the breakouts and lightning talks?

No, you do not. Breakouts and lightning talks will be available day of.

I am under 18 - am I still allowed to attend ModCon and the reception?

Unfortunately, not for our first event.

If you are 18 or over, you can attend the event and reception. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

For those over 21, the bartenders at the reception will be checking IDs - so please bring ID if you want to drink alcoholic beverages.

Will there be free Wi-Fi?

Yes, of course. No bitcoin mining though or large AI data training workloads allowed :)

Will there be coffee?

Even better - there will be a full service espresso cart! Drip coffee will also be provided. All this as part of your ticket.

Will there be a livestream of the event available?

No, we will not livestream this event. However, we will be publishing selected recordings of some of the talks after the event concludes.

What accessibility services will be available?

Will you have dietary restricted meals available?
